The start of the 2021 football season saw Kappture deploy over 200 fixed eco-friendly EPOS terminals at Celtic Park.

The iconic Celtic Park has been home to Celtic Football Club since 1982. With a capacity of 60,411, it is the largest football stadium in Scotland, and the eighth largest stadium in the UK.

Objective

Celtic Football Club were looking for a new hospitality solution for both their kiosk and hospitality areas to enhance the matchday experience for their guests.

Results

Celtic Football Club provided the go ahead in July and the project was configured, installed, and went live within three weeks, ready for the Europa League fixture in August.

Kappture worked closely with the Celtic IT team and the on-site Sodexo Live! team to deliver the new point of sale solution.

The new cashless payments technology reduced queues and improved customer service at kiosks throughout the stadium. The solution provides real time sales and stock analytics on a match day.
