Account Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, personable and organized Account Manager to join our expanding Derby based team looking after major clients across Education, Business and Stadia sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for their own client base, with the main day to day responsibilities being:

  • Developing a positive personal relationship with the clients
  • Providing the client with up to date information on Kappture solutions
  • Attending regular site visits to discuss targets and to assist client trading objectives
  • Maximize allocated client base opportunities and handling repeat sales enquiries
  • Attending internal Technology Days for new and existing clients

Desirable skills:

  • A Level 3 Qualification in IT (A-Level / BTEC or equivalent) preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 1+ years experience working in an Account management/Support Environment
  • Analytical and customer focused approach
  • Ability to work pro-actively and to tight deadlines
  • Flexibility with weekend work as required
  • Working within and achieving in a performance driven environment
  • Experience of MSO 365

We are looking for a proven team player who has the drive to succeed, can multi-task and is willing to learn and develop in line with our future growth plans.

The role will be 37 ½ hours per week (Monday to Friday) based in Derby

Full UK driver’s license needed, and overnight stays as required

Full-time role starting immediately

Salary will be in the range of £22k to £26k dependent on experience and references.

Senior React Native Developer

We are looking for a Senior React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for an exciting new greenfield mobile app project.

The successful applicants will be working on a new greenfield mobile application used by prestigious clients from industry leaders such as Airbus, Boots, and BT; Sports and Entertainment venues including Ascot Racecourse, Cheltenham Racecourse and Twickenham; and famous academic institutions such as University of Nottingham.

Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to high quality is a must.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Expert in React Native development and its core principles, including ES6+
  • Hands on experience using React Native Framework with at least 3 years proven experience
  • Responsibility for full application development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Build pixel-perfect, high quality user interfaces across both mobile platforms
  • Implement UX/UI designs provided by designers.
  • Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and offline storage.
  • Willingness to learn new development skills and keep up with latest technologies.

Desirable but not must have skills would include:

  • Amazon Web Services
  • Git source control
  • An interest in graphic design and UX

EPOS Helpdesk & Installation Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic EPOS Technician to join our expanding team based at our UK office in Derby.

What does an EPOS Helpdesk and Installation Technician do?

  • Ensure SLAs are met by responding to and resolving tickets in a timely manner
  • Act as a first point of contact for all internal customers regarding IT issues and queries, logging all requests and incidents within the ITSM tool
  • Take ownership of tickets ensuring the customer and ticket is updated with the ticket resolved where possible or assigned to next resolving group in a timely manner
  • Remote and in person support using windows administration and mobile device management tools
  • Build and setup hardware/software
  • Troubleshoot POS, handheld devices and other end user peripherals for any hardware, software, or network issues
  • Contribute to internal processes, documentation, and continuous business improvement
  • Liaise with 3rd Party Support and Equipment Vendors
  • Onsite Training and Event Support for new and existing customers where required

Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be able to use their own initiative to solve customer queries. We are looking for a proven team player who has the drive to succeed, can multi-task and is willing to learn and develop in line with our future growth plans.

You will build strong customer relationships by providing a proactive approach to problem solving with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Essential that you are a qualified driver with your own vehicle.

Senior C++ Developer / Systems Developer

We are looking for three experienced Senior C++ Developers to join our expanding team in Galway, Ireland - the heart of Ireland's west coast tech scene.

The successful applicants will be working on systems used by prestigious clients from industry leaders such as Airbus, Boots, and Procter & Gamble; Sports and Entertainment venues including Ascot Racecourse, Wimbledon and Twickenham; and famous academic institutions such as Oxford University.

Working out of the PorterShed in Eyre Square, and reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for developing the company's embedded systems in C++ and Qt, the supporting backend in golang and SQL Server, and the platform drivers in C++.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ software developer, and a minimum of 3 years' experience using Qt
  • Current knowledge of C++ standards and specifications
  • Familiarity with advanced C++ concepts
  • Experience developing drivers and working at the hardware level
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, bash, golang, SQL, JavaScript and OSS toolchains
  • Familiar with Windows and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Demonstrable understanding of scalability, availability and building high-performance applications
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills

You will build strong customer relationships by providing a proactive approach to problem solving with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Essential that you are a qualified driver with your own vehicle.

Applicants should ideally live within 30 minutes of our Derby office and be able to travel to client sites when required including staying overnight as and when required.

The role will be 37 ½ hours per week (Monday to Friday), plus paid weekend support (on a rota basis) will be a part of your role.

Full-time / Permanent role starting in March / April 2021.

Salary will be 22-25k dependent on experience and references.
