Finance Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and reliable financial manager who can hit the ground running and provide a quality internal service from day one.

The role would suit a part qualified accountant looking to develop a small team to provide the accurate and timely financial information required to help drive the business forward. This is a full time position reporting to the Commercial Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • QuickBooks experience preferable
  • Excel/Office software experience essential
  • Access to Confidential Information / Bank Accounts / Payroll / SASS
  • Preparation of monthly reports – P&L / Balance Sheet / Bank reconciliation / Debtors / Creditors / VAT
  • Invoicing of Clients / Monthly Statements / Credit Control
  • Purchase Orders to Suppliers / Payments to Suppliers
  • Cashflow Management
  • Monitor all expense accounts
  • Stock Taking & Valuation
  • Staff Payroll / Expenses paid monthly
  • Prepare R&D grant submission annually
  • Pension Scheme for all staff maintained and monthly contributions paid (Peoples Pension)
  • Insurance / Utilities / Office Rent / Rates Contracts
  • Maintain Assets Register
  • Ad Hoc reports as required for Directors / Budgets
  • Preparation of end of year accounts / main contact with Accountants

Salary negotiable dependant upon experience.

Helpdesk Manager

The role would suit a technically component individual with managerial experience . This is a full time position reporting to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage helpdesk / call management using inhouse ticket logging software
  • Ensure all tickets logged are resolved within our published Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Technical capability to deal with all issues presented to the helpdesk, including being able to read and understand log files
  • Liaise with the development team as and when required
  • Train the helpdesk team and develop their technical abilities
  • Act as the 1st line of escalation internally and externally
  • Speak with clients who need senior input
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill are essential
  • Provide formal reports when requested
  • Schedule resources for helpdesk 7 days week, including out of hours
  • Provide 2nd line support at weekends and out of hours, in conjunction with the development team

Salary £30,000 per annum.

Office Administrator

The role would suit a somebody looking to gain experience in a busy office environment. This is a full time position reporting to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word
  • Manage the office phone systems
  • Manage the delivering of parcels and shipments to our clients and suppliers
  • Manage our own internal stock systems, including regular stock takes working with the Finance Manager
  • Booking hotels, flights, vans etc. for our field based team
  • Manage annual leave requests
  • Writing monthly and adhoc reports for Directors
  • Be responsible for the office Health & Safety and fire alarms tests
  • Manage the office cleaning contract
  • Meet and greet visitors to the office
  • Other general office duties

Salary £15,000 per annum.
